Chris Paul is unstoppable as the Suns advance to the NBA Finals

LOS ANGELES, CA - Chris Paul is going to the NBA Finals for the first time in his career, scored 41 points, 7 of 8 from the three-point arc as the Phoenix Suns beat the Los Angeles Clippers 130-103 in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals.

Marcus Morris Sr. led the Clippers in scoring with 26-points, Paul George with 21-points, Reggie Jackson with 13-points, and DeMarcus Cousins with 12-points. Devin Booker had 22-points, Jae Crowder 19-points, and Deandre Ayton 16-points and 17 rebounds.

Tyronn Lue and his coaching staff did an amazing job getting the Clippers to the Western Conference Finals for the first time in franchise history without one of the best players in the NBA, Kawhi Leonard.

"Finally getting to a position and place that we've never been before as an organization, it really means a lot to the guys in the locker room, even though we want to do more, and we're going to do more," Lue said.

The Suns led the Clippers 7-2 in the first quarter with a jump shot by Devin Booker. Paul George made a layup that had the Clippers trailing 7-6. Patrick Beverly three-point shot tied the game 9-9.

Chris Paul made a three-point shot that gave the Suns a 15-9 lead, and the Clippers called a timeout with 6:44 left in the quarter. After the timeout, Reggie Jackson drove to the basket for a layup making the score 15-11.

Marcus Morris Sr.'s jump shot made the score 15-13. Deandre Ayton's layup had the Suns up 19-15. Nicolas Batum's layup gave the Clippers their first lead of the game, 20-19.

The Suns regained the lead 23-20 after a basket by Ayton. Cameron Payne's three-pointer made the score 26-20. DeMarcus Cousin made a three-pointer that had the Clippers trailing 28-23. Cousin's three-point shot at the buzzer had the Clippers down at the end of the quarter 33-29.

The Suns led by ten points 45-35 after a basket by Payne, and the Clippers called a timeout with 9:14 left in the first half. After the timeout, George made a layup that made the score 45-38.

Morris Sr.'s three-pointer had the Clippers trailing by three points 46-43. Beverly made a layup that made the score 48-45 in favor of the Suns. Batum made two free throws making the score 48-47 with 6:15 left in the first half.

Reggie Jackson tied the game 50-50 after being fouled on his made basket by Devin Booker and made his free throw. Beverly shot two free throws that had the Clippers trailing 53-52.

The Suns led by six points 58-52 after a layup by Jae Crowder with 3:16 left in the first half. Morris Sr.'s jump shot had the Clippers trailing 60-54. Morris Sr. made another three-point shot that made the score 63-57.

Jae Crowder's three-pointer gave the Suns a 66-57 lead at halftime. Morris Sr. led the Clippers in scoring with 13-points, Reggie Jackson and Patrick Beverly with 11-points, and DeMarcus Cousin with 10-points.

Crowder led the Suns in scoring with 16-points, Booker 14-points, and Chris Paul, and Deandre Ayton both with 10-points.

The Suns led 76-67 in the third quarter after a jump shot by Paul George. Booker drove to the basket for a dunk that had the Suns leading by thirteen points, 80-67, with 6:58 left in the quarter.

Morris Sr. had the Clippers trailing 82-70 with his jump shot at the top of the key. The Suns led by fifteen points 85-70 after a three-pointer by Torrey Craig.

Mikal Bridges made a layup that had the Suns up 89-72, forcing the Clippers to call a timeout with 4:01 left in the quarter. Morris Sr.'s three-pointer had the Clippers down by ten points 89-79.

The Suns led by six points 58-52 after a layup by Jae Crowder with 3:16 left in the first half. Morris Sr.'s jump shot had the Clippers trailing 60-54. Morris Sr. made another three-point shot that made the score 63-57.

Jae Crowder's three-pointer gave the Suns a 66-57 lead at halftime. Morris Sr. led the Clippers in scoring with 13-points, Reggie Jackson and Patrick Beverly with 11-points, and DeMarcus Cousin with 10-points.

Crowder led the Suns in scoring with 16-points, Booker 14-points, and Chris Paul, and Deandre Ayton both with 10-points.

The Suns led 76-67 in the third quarter after a jump shot by Paul George. Booker drove to the basket for a dunk that had the Suns leading by thirteen points, 80-67, with 6:58 left in the quarter.

Morris Sr. had the Clippers trailing 82-70 with his jump shot at the top of the key. The Suns led by fifteen points 85-70 after a three-pointer by Torrey Craig.

Batum made a three-pointer from the left side of the key, made the score 89-82, and the Suns called a timeout with 1:43 left in the quarter. Chris Paul made a jump shot that made the score 94-82 in favor of the Suns.

Chris Paul made another three-point shot to give the Suns a 97-83 lead at the end of the quarter. Paul was laying all out tonight, a man on a mission.

"I was on a don't-lose mission," Chris Paul said. "Just a lot of emotion. A lot of things going on."

The Suns led 105-85 in the fourth quarter after a jump shot by Chris Paul with 9:39 left in the game. Morris Sr.'s three-pointer made the score 105-88. George made a pull-up jump shot, making the score 107-92.

The Suns were up 118-92 after a three-pointer by Chris Paul. During a timeout, Patrick Beverly shoved Chris Paul to the floor from behind and was ejected from the game after the officials reviewed the play.

The Clippers trail 121-100 after a layup by Terance Mann. Chris Paul added more salt to the Clippers' bleeding by making a deep three-point shot to give the Suns a 124-100 lead with 2:21 left in the game.

The Suns ended the game beating the Clippers 130-103 in Game 6 of the Western Conference Finals to advance to the NBA Finals.
