Hollywood Park Hosted The City Of Inglewood’s 8th Annual Turkey Giveaway

INGLEWOOD, CA - The City of Inglewood's 8th Annual Thanksgiving Food Giveaway was held at Hollywood Park and sponsored by Pepsi was a blessing to about 2,500 people in the community.

Don Lee Farms donated turkeys, a bag of sides, and other items from Pepsi and Frito-Lay. For the people to receive the food items from the drive-through event, they had to register in advance.

So many people had smiles on their faces after leaving the event came to the event, especially the volunteers who donated their time.

The City of Inglewood had plenty of support from their local teams, the Los Angeles Rams, the Los Angeles Chargers, and the Los Angeles Clippers, who will be moving to Inglewood in their new arena, the Intuit Dome, in the 2024-25 season.

As part of the Thanksgiving giveaway, Pepsi gave Inglewood families who drove through the drive-thru cases of Bubly. Frito-Lay also had a variety of products for sale.

Melissa’s, one of the other partners, also donated boxes of produce, 5 pounds of russet potatoes, 2 pounds of carrots, and 3 pounds of Granny Smith apples in each box.
