L.A.Chargers Impact Fund refurbishes L.A. Jordan's fitness room with new equipment and helmets

7/22/22 LOS ANGELES, CA - L.A. Jordan High School received a special gift from the Los Angeles Chargers Impact Fund, a refurbished fitness room with new equipment and helmets.

The Chargers had a special delivery message for this event, All-Pro Safety Derwin James Jr. bearing gifts for all the players in attendance.

The Bulldogs' head football coach Derek Benton perhaps had the biggest smile of them all, knowing what this meant to his football team and the other sports programs on campus.

"God has truly smiled on us, and this is a blessing to Jordan High school," coach Benton said. "This will give our student-athletes a sense of pride when they use the fitness equipment."

The Chargers' All-Pro Safety Derwin James Jr. had the fitness room buzzing with excitement, as the players were having a great time with him and the media in attendance and were very grateful for the new helmets.

The Bulldogs' Alex Kim (Principal), Jamie Krueckeberg ( Problem Data Solving Coordinator), and head coach Derek Benton were having a good time during our photo shoot.
