LOS ANGELES, CA - The Los Angeles Dodgers (8-0) have done it again after Blake Snell gave up 5 hits and five runs, Shohei Ohtani (DH) on his bobblehead night smacked a walk-off home run over the center field wall on his bobblehead night with a come-from-behind thriller 6-5 over the Atlanta Braves (0-7) at Dodgers Stadium to sweep the two-game series.
It was the second of his career, and when it went over the center field wall, and with the comeback win it would be their sixth out of their eight games, and the fans at Dodgers Stadium on his bobblehead night just went crazy.
"When he was coming up, and it's his bobblehead night -- everyone knew," starter Blake Snell said. "We knew. It's just what he does."
You could tell that the players were out of sync during the first few innings, making mistake after mistake, and the Dodgers manager Dave Roberts shaking his head.
"I was dumbfounded with the way we were playing," he said. "I didn't recognize that club in the first couple innings. And then just dumbfounded we found a way to win that game. We had no business winning that game. But to our guys' credit, we just kept fighting."
Snell (1-0), in his second start of the season, allowed Atlanta to get on the scoreboard first to lead 1-0 in the top of the first inning after Max Muncy at third base threw a bad ball in the dirt to Kiki Hernadez t first base, who couldn’t handle the bad throw bounced off his glove, and Marcell Ozuna scored.
The Braves led 2-0 to end the first inning after Nick Allen singled to left field and Matt Olson came across home plate to score.
Atlanta increased their lead to 3-0 in the top of the second inning when the Dodgers outfielder Andy Pages misplayed and dropped the ball in center field, and Stuart Fairchild scored. Snell would load the bases with one out.
The Braves would score two more runs to lead 5-0 when Olson doubled to left field, and Ellie White and Ozzie Albes both scored.

The Dodgers trailed 5-2 in the bottom of the second of the second inning after Tommy Edman hit a two-run over the center field wall. Michael Conforto had Los Angeles down two runs in the bottom of the fourth inning, 5-3, with a solo home run to center field.
Max Muncy redeemed himself after making two errors in the first two innings with a double into center field and tied the game 5-5 in the bottom of the eighth inning, allowing Will Smith and Michael Conforto to score.
In the bottom of the ninth inning, Ohtani delivered for the Dodgers with a game-winning walk-off home run over the center field wall off of Atlanta's Raisel Iglesias (RHP) to give them the best record 8-0 in MLB after winning the World Series last year.
Both teams left men in scoring position, but the Dodgers would have to credit their bullpen with Ben Casparius (RHP) pitching 2.0 innings, Kirby Yates (RHP) 1.0 innings, and Jack Dryer (LHP) with his first win of the season the to keep the Braves scoreless.
