LAS VEGAS, NV -Antonio Pierce and his coach staff did a marvelous job of putting their loss last Sunday behind them and helping guide the Las Vegas Raiders to a franchise scoring record by beating their rivals, the Los Angeles Chargers, 63-21 at Allegiant Stadium.

The offensive line did a great job of protecting their quarterback Aidan O'Connell, allowing him to complete 20 of his 34 passes for 248 yards, four touchdowns, and sack only once.

"We knew at halftime what the record was," Las Vegas interim coach Antonio Pierce said. "We want to be aggressive regardless of what the score was. If we had 21 or 10, we were going to be aggressive. That was our mindset."

Davonte Adams had a great night, catching eight passes for 101 yards and one touchdown, Tre Tucker three passes for 59 yards and two touchdowns, Michael Mayer four catches for 39 yards and one touchdown, and Jakobi Meyers two catches for 32 yards and one touchdown.

Las Vegas, on their opening offensive series, went down the field for 68 yards and would score on a 1-yard touchdown run by Zamir White and the extra point by Daniel Carlson to take a 7-0 lead in the first quarter.

The Raiders' special teams forced a fumble by the Charger's Deruis Davis in the second quarter and recovered by the Raiders at their 14-yard line.

The Chargers would score two more times when Stick threw a 13-yard touchdown to Alex Erickson and a 6-yard touchdown pass to Quentin Johnson, making the final score 63-21.
