Raiders' training camp is filled with high expectations
HENDERSON, NV - The Las Vegas Raiders and Derek Carr looked sharp during their training camp inside their Intermountain Healthcare Performance Center.
The Raiders' first-year head coach Josh McDaniels and his coaching staff ran crisp and precise team drills for each phase of their game.
With a new offensive- scheme installed this season, Carr looked very relaxed and sharp with their passing drills, especially throwing passes to their newly acquired wide receiver Davante Adams from the Green Bay Packers.
Las Vegas, with big weapons on offense already with wide receiver Hunter Renfro and tight-end Darren Waller, perhaps we can look for more down-the-field passing from Carr. Here is Carr's response about throwing the football deep downfield on video.
Bo Hardegree, the Raiders quarterback so far, likes what he has seen with Carr and the receiving corp, on how they look during training camp, and if there is anything that has surprised him so far during training camp. Here is his response on video.
Josh Jacobs is their main man running the football during training and looked explosive in their drills for running backs. With all the pieces common together on offense, and defense, the Raiders will have a good chance to win the AFC West, provided everyone can stay injury free.
