The Raiders look good on Friday and Saturday during training camp recap
LAS VEGAS, NV - Despite the 115-degree heat today, the Las Vegas Raiders had a great training camp on Friday and today. You could feel the buzz on the field with "Jimmy G" throwing the football during drills.
When he is healthy, he is as good as any quarterback in the league and is a leader on and off the field, and has had some untimely injuries in his career in the NFL.
Josh McDaniels entering his second year as the Raiders' head coach, was very upbeat during practice, and very optimistic about the upcoming season.
During the passing drills, the secondary felt if they could hold up their own against the best wide receiver in the game, Davante Adams and Hunter Renfrow and company could cover anyone in the league.
The Raiders are looking for "Jimmy G" to ignite their passing game, and backing him up at QB 15-year veteran Bryan Hoyer out of Michigan State and rookie Aidan O’Connell out of Purdue.
The biggest question for the Raiders is what will their running game be like without Josh Jacobs not running the football and holding out.
