UCLA gets a rematch with Arizona in the championship game after beating Oregon 75-56

LAS VEGAS, NV - Tyger Campbell scored 28 points, and Jamie Jaquez Jr., with 18 points, helped the UCLA Bruins advance to Pac-12 Championship after beating the Oregon Ducks 75-56 at the T-Mobile Arena.

UCLA had to finish the game with Adem Bona, who hurt his shoulder diving for a loose ball in the second half.

The Bruins' head coach Mick Cronin was pleased with how Campbell took control of the game and shot the ball well against Oregon.

"The way they (the Ducks) were playing the pick and roll, we thought Tyger could have a big night," Cronin said. "He was able to get enough shots where he was able to get in a great rhythm."

Campbell's jump shot gave UCLA a 5-2 lead. Will Richardson would tie the game 7-7 for Oregon with a three-point shot. The Ducks would lead 8-7 with a free throw by N'Faly Dante.

Oregon led 16-14 with a fall-away jump shot by Keeshawn Barthelemy. UCLA would regain the lead 18-16 after a dunk by Adem Bona. UCLA led 21-16 with a three-point shot by Campbell.

The Ducks trail by one point, 21-20, with a layup by Bittle. Bona dunk had the Bruins leading 24-20. Campbell would knock down another jump shot that gave UCLA a 28-24 lead.

Oregon trail 28-26 with two free throws by Barthelemy. UCLA would go up by four points, 32-28 when Bailey stole the ball and went down the court for a left-handed dunk.

UCLA led at halftime 32-20 when Richardson made a jump shot in the paint. Campbell led the Bruins in scoring in the first half with 8 points, and Jaquez Jr. with 7 points.

Richardson led Oregon in scoring with 7 points, and Ware and Barthelemy both with 6 points.

UCLA led 38-33 in the second half with a jump shot by Campbell. Jaquez Jr. would pull up a three-pointer making the score 44-36.

Oregon was down 46-43 with a layup by Guerrier. Campbell would pull up for a fall-away jump shot that gave UCLA a 52-46 lead.

Moments later, the Bruins would lead 55-46 with another three-pointer by Campbell.

"I believe in myself as a player," Campbell said. "Any shot I take, I feel like it's going to go in."

The Bruins would increase their lead to 57-46 with another jump shot by Campbell. Oregon trailed 61-51 with a made basket and a free throw by Jaquez Jr.

Singleton would make a three-pointer to give the Bruins a 64-51 lead. After leading 67-52, the Bruins went on an 8-4 run to beat Oregon 75-56.

The leading scorers for Oregon were Richardson and Guierrier, each with 10 points.

No.1 UCLA (29-4) will play No. 2 Arizona (27-6) for the second time in the Pac-12 Championship Game on Saturday at 7: 30 PM.
