Aaron Donald is back at the Rams Mandatory Mini Camp
6/8/22 THOUSAND OAKS, CA - The Los Angeles Rams mandatory minicamp had a great buzz during the workout. The reason being Aaron Donald was at practice with his teammates.
Everybody knows you when championships on defense, and Donald, a seven-time All-Pro defensive tackle and three-time Defensive Player of the Year, was one of the main reasons they won the Super Bowl LVI.
Donald has been in the NFL for eight seasons and has Hall of Fame status already got a new contract extension worth about 95 million to keep him as a Ram until 2024 to show their appreciation.
"It's a good opportunity to try to win another Super Bowl. We're back to the beginning stages of that and ready to work for it," Aaron Donald said. "Happy to be here and ready to go to work."
Since Donald came into the league in 2014, he has had the most sacks on quarterbacks (98.0), hits on QBs (226), and tackles for loss (150).
The new contract also has shown that the Rams organization, and front office, are serious about making another run for another Super Bowl title.
The Rams are heading in the right direction by adding six-time All-Pro linebacker Bobby Wagner from the Seattle Seahawks, improving their roster on defense.
