Derek Carr and the Raiders lose a heartbreaker to the Colts 25-20
LAS VEGAS, NV - The Las Vegas Raiders' defense let their chance of winning the game slip in the fourth quarter, losing to the Indianapolis Colts 25-20.
Derek Carr completed 24 passes for 248-yards and two touchdowns, Josh Jacobs rushed for 78-yards and one touchdown, and Davante Adams had nine catches for 126-yards and one touchdown.
After the game, Carr was upset by the way they lost the game to the Colts.
"I know where I stand," said Carr, who became emotional as he spoke. "I love the silver and black. I'm going to give it everything I can every time I go out there, and I can't speak for everybody, for every man what's going on in their head. But I can tell you what's going on in my head, and I'm going to give it all that I can every single time."
Matt Ryan for the Colts completed 21 of 28 passes for 222-yards and one touchdown, and Jonathan Taylor rushed for 147-yards and one touchdown.
Ryan got the Colts on the scoreboard in the first quarter with his 1-yard touchdown run to lead 7-0. The Colts led 10-0 after Chase McLaughlin kicked a 48-yard field goal in the second quarter.
The Raiders trail 10-7 after Carr threw a 4-yard touchdown pass to Foster Moreau. The Colts led at halftime 13-7 when McLaughlin kicked another 48-yard field goal.
Josh Jacobs would give the Raiders the lead in the third quarter, 14-13, after he scored on a 1-yard touchdown.
The Colts regained the lead 19-14 when Jonathan Taylor broke free for a 66-yard touchdown run.
The Raiders would get the lead back in the fourth, 20-19 when Davante Adams caught a 48-yard touchdown.
Indianapolis would strike the final blow when Ryan threw a 35-yard touch pass to Paris Campbell to help the Colts to improve to (4-5-1) and the Raiders fell to (2-7).
