DENVER, COLORADO - On Sunday, the Raiders defeated the Broncos 17-16, spoiling Sean Payton's first game as Denver's head coach. Jimmy Garoppolo and Jakobi Meyers were making their first appearances, connected for two touchdown passes during the Raiders' victory.
During the victory, he completed 20 of his 26 passes for 200 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. Myers caught nine passes for 81 yards and two touchdowns. Josh Jacobs carried the ball nineteen times for 48 yards.
"It ain't got to be pretty, you've just got to get it done," Davante Adams said as he walked off the field with Garoppolo after the Raiders extended their winning streak over their AFC West rivals to seven games.
The Raiders led 10-6 in the second quarter with a three-yard touchdown catch by Myers and a 24-yard field goal by Daniel Carlson. The Broncos would lead 13-10 at halftime with a 5-yard touchdown pass by Russell Wilson to Carlton Sutton.
Denver led in the third quarter with a 24-yard field goal by Wil Lutz, aided by some costly penalties by the Raiders, who bent but didn't break.

Russell Wilson finished the game, completing 27 of his 34 passes for 177 yards and two touchdowns.
