LOS ANGELES, CA - The Los Angeles Dodgers, after being shut out by the Milwaukee Brewers 4-0 on Monday, bounced back to beat them 10-1 with Freddie Freeman's 4 RBIs, and Trayce Thompson's 4 RBIs and solo home run on Tuesday night.

Tony Gonsolin with the win (16-1), pitched 5.0 innings while giving up 3 hits, one run, and three strikeouts. The Brewers starting pitcher Corbin Burnes only lasted 3.2 innings, and gave up 6 hits, seven runs, and one home run.

"Scoring 10 runs in games started by Corbin Burnes and Sandy, it's a little unexpected, even for us," said Freddie Freeman. "We think we're still going to have a good day, even though we're facing those guys, but 10 runs is a lot. Those guys are really good pitchers."

The Dodgers led 1-0 in the bottom of the first inning after Freddie Freeman hits a single to right field that allowed Mookie Betts to score.

The Brewers had a base runner on third base with two outs in the top of the second inning when Luis Urais hit a monster shot to right field, but Betts chased the ball down and jumped in the air to get the final out.

The Dodgers led 4-0 in the bottom of the second inning with a three-run home run by Trayce Thompson over the left-center-field fence.

Thompson singled to left field with a deflection by the Brewers shortstop Willy Adames with two outs in the bottom of the fourth inning, and Chris Taylor came home from third base to make the score 5-0.

Trey Turner hit a blooper into center field, and Thompson crossed home plate, and now the Dodgers led 6-0.

The Dodgers were leading 7-0 after Freeman hit his second RBI when he singled into left field, and Betts scored still in the bottom of the fourth inning.

The Brewers made the score 7-1 in the top of the fifth inning when Jonathan Davis hit a single to center field, and Luis Urias scored.

In the bottom of the eighth inning, Trea Turner doubled to center field, and Thompson scored and made the score 8-1.

Moments later, Freeman would hit a double to left field that allowed Betts and Turner to score to give the Dodgers a 10-1 victory over the Brewers.
