INGLEWOOD CA, - The Los Angeles Rams (5-6) allowed the Philadelphia Eagles (9-2) Saquon Barkley to rush for 265 yards and two touchdowns, and Jalen Hurts threw for 179 yards and one touchdown and lost 37-20 at Sofi Stadium.

"Barkley is getting tough, hard-earned yards, and then you give him a vertical seam like he got a couple of times," McVay said. "He has the explosiveness, long speed, and the ability to finish. That is what opened and blew the game up for him. He was outstanding."

Los Angeles went 0 for eight on third downs and penalties, and turnovers killed several drives, forcing them to punt several times.

The Rams turned the ball over on their first possession after Kyren William fumbled the football and recovered by the Eagles Nakobe Dean (LB) at their 17-yard line.

Jalen Hurts and the Eagles drove down the field to the 3-yard line of the Rams and had to settle for a 21-yard field goal by Jake Elliot to take a 3-0 lead in the first quarter.

Matthew Stafford connected with Puka Nacua for 18 yards to Philadelphia 7 7-yard line, and a pass interference in the endzone by Darius Day (CB) covering Demarcus Robinson to get a first and goal at the 1-yard line.

Williams made up for his fumble after smashing into the endzone for a 1-yard touchdown run, and with the extra point by Joshua Karty good to take a 7-3 lead.

Philadelphia in the red zone had several penalties called against them and scored on a 31-yard field goal by Elliot, trailing 7-6 with 6:17 left before halftime. The Eagles led 13-7 after Hurts threw a 6-yard touchdown pass to A.J. Brown (WR).
