7/24/21 THOUSAND OAKS, CA - The Los Angeles Rams' newly acquired wide-receiver DeSean Jackson and his foundation were busy giving back to the community and hosted his Youth Football and Fitness Camp (F.A.S.T.) at Cal Lutheran University.

The mission of the DeSean Jackson Foundation is to advance the common good by caring, cultivating, collaborating, and advocating – One Team, One Purpose.

The kids who attended the camp were from the ages of (16-18) and resided in Long Beach, South LA, Downey, and other areas of Southern California.

Jackson and his volunteer coaching staff taught the kids about footwork, agility, speed techniques, teamwork, nutrition, anti-bullying, and respect for others and yourself.

Jackson, who attended high school at Long Beach Poly, knew the importance of giving back and sharing skills that would impact the youth for years to come.

"I'm blessed to be able to play professional football and be able to give back to kids that lived in the same city that I grew up in and the surrounding cities," Jackson said."

Many of the kids were from several A.A.U Football Travel Teams who were teammates and competed against each other to showcase their football throwing, catching, and defensive skills.

There were plenty of smiles during the camp from the players and their parents, but when it came down to the passing and catching drills, facial expressions changed.

The players were pumped up and giving high-fives to the guys that made great catches, and those that dropped the football were giving encouragement as well.
