LOS ANGELES, CA - LAFC’s late comeback gives them one point and advances them to the League Cup knockout round.

Vancouver took an early 1-0 lead in the 4th minute when Sebastian Berhalter sent a right-footed shot into the back of the net on a set piece.

Berhalter assisted in the second goal with a cross following a corner that Ranko Veselinovic headed past the goalkeeper for a 2-0 Whitecaps lead in the 17th minute.

Kei Kamara pulled one back in the 88th minute to cut the Vancouver lead 2-1. LAFC’s chances to earn a point increased with a late equalizer from Mateusz Bogusz in the fifth minute of stoppage time.

Eduard Atuesta converted LAFC’s first PK but Kamara and Bogusz missed their PK’s. Cristian Olivera converted his PK but Vancouver converted all four PK’s to win 4-2.
